Sharyn Henry - Humanitarian Award

Rabbi Sharyn Henry was presented the Humanitarian Award from CLASS during our 18th Annual Community Heroes Awards Dinner. Sharyn has always been an advocate of equality, but it became even more personal when a close friend’s daughter was born with Cerebral Palsy at the same time as her son was born. Watching their development enlightened Sharyn on the obstacles that people with disabilities have to overcome, and she became an even larger advocate for inclusion. The Rodef Shalom Congregation, where Sharyn serves as Associate Rabbi, has undergone changes to make almost everywhere accessible for all people.
