Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community

MAKE A DIFFERENCE ONE STEP AT A TIME

The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community is an annual fundraising walk that benefits local health and human service agencies. The primary goal of the walk is to help participating organizations raise money for their individual missions.

All locations feature a 5K Walk beginning at 9:00 am and a one-mile Walk starting at 9:15 am.  The Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023. Registration is now open!  Register as an individual or create a team today at: http://hcf.convio.net/class2023. Anyone who registers and donates or raises $30 or more and attends the Walk, is eligible for a t-shirt on the day of the walk.  Walk with CLASS!

CLASS is one of many nonprofit organizations that participate in the walk each year. This annual fundraiser is underwritten by Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield, so 100% of the funds raised by CLASS, come directly to CLASS!

In the past, proceeds raised through the Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community allowed CLASS to build inclusive communities and fulfill our mission of Working Toward A Community Where Each Belongs by helping build an accessible home for our Residential Services, funding inclusive activities, supporting the renovations for the Centre Services Program, and allowing CLASS to continue our commitment to people of all abilities. The funds raised from the 2023 Highmark Walk for a Healthy Community will support men and women with disabilities living in the communities of their choice.
