Olivia Shope, OTD at Duquesne University is completing her capstone project at CLASS. Olivia is conducting a doctoral capstone project to increase access and cost-effectiveness of assistive technology distribution. Through the project, Olivia will use CLASS's 3D printer and maker space to print small assistive devices. Those who are interested in requesting a device, should contact Olivia at oshope@classcommunity.org. The catalog of items is below.
Those who receive a device are encouraged to participate in a study that will evaluate the quality and effectiveness of these devices. Those who would wish to participate in the study will need to:
- Sign a consent form and provide some information
- Use their new device at home
- Contact us to tell us how the device is working
